I went there with some of my co-workers from my architectural office over the week-end. While the others were skiing, I went around the village and the woods to discover the quiet nature and of course some objects to draw. So my Oberstdorf work has become quite sophisticated.
There was a great fire in 1865 which destroyed nearly all of the medieval farmhouses. So here's a traditional house from the end of the 19th century.

This baroq chapel and church of pilgrimage is situated out of village and survived the blaze.

Well, as the snow was too persisent sometimes, I had to switch to accesible objects like this diesel locomotive at the train station. This was the first train that I drew in detail.

As always your drawings are beautiful and inspiring. Especially love the delicate precision of the chapel interior.
