Looking back towards the city from a hill near my house, you can see the landmark
Hillbrow tower, recently adorned with a soccer ball. A reminder to all who glance that way that this is the year of the 2010 Soccer World Cup in South Africa. Much excitement and preparations, I think we'll be hearing of little else on radio and TV until it's over.
Down to the main road, I drove past these two waiting for a bus, and remembered that the
theme on Flickr this week is buses and bus stops, so went round the block, parked across the road and sketched them. In the background is the tower again, peeping over the foliage.
