taking liberty's
Another morning spent sketching in freezing cold weather in Soho, central London. One is never enough. This is the great department store Liberty's, off Regent Street, looking through the archway down charming Kingly Street (which has some lovely pubs and bars). It was so cold that day I had to use three different micron pens to draw this. They kept just giving up. I had to put them into my coat pocket to warm up. I was starting to appreciate California's warmer climate. The next pub I popped into, I actually put my pencil case on the radiator.

Looks great, but brrrrrrrrrrr......
You need a hand warmer in your pocket: a little burner in a tin, in a pouch - toasty!
