sail away with me

the ship, soho
One of my favourite pubs in London, The Ship, on Wardour Street in Soho. It’s a small, often busy place that never really seems to change, a port of refuge of sameness every time I come back, while other old, familiar places are closing down around us. I used to come here a fair bit in my twenties. Everyone knows The Ship. Long may she sail.

You seem to revisit many of my old haunts.
Lovely, familiar sketch.
