I love the fact that there are numerous farmers markets right in the heart of Sydney - lots of organic goodies straight from the farm. Some of the farmers travel hundreds of miles every week to sell their produce.
The Pyrmont markets happen once a month and I have been meaning to visit for a while. Such a great way to spend a Saturday morning with 3 sketching friends - catching up, wandering around very interesting stalls and then sketching together.
Not surprisingly I tried to find the most exotic and interesting healthy food in the markets to purchase so that I could draw them. If I feel up to it and have the time, I plan to have the pink oyster mushroom for breakfast tomorrow!
