Post-Christmas beach session

I must say, that although I absolutely love looking through everyone else's winter drawings, the snow, the scarves, the hot cocoas and boots, I am SO happy I am not freezing my butt off somewhere. I'm a little embarassed to admit this, but looking at all those drawings of the cold, makes me appreciate this everlasting heat so much more! I heard someone say once that the seasons in the Dominican Republic were two: summer and hell. So, since this winter basically feels like summer, I shudder to think what SUMMER will bring. But I digress... I got to go to the beach yesterday with some good friends. Erica flew down from England and is visiting for a few weeks. I love watching her face as she receives warm sunlight on her cheeks. Funny what we take for granted! And to those of you bearing with the cold I send warm thoughts and if I could share some of this heat with you, honest to God-I would!

Wonderful warm sketches! Here in Israel we also have two seasons: summer and a little bit colder summer ;-) Now it's a perfect weather, though, too cold for suntan.
