Occasionally, I had the time to walk around a little bit and do some sketches. The new HafenCity is growing and and getting complete, with great architecture by Behnisch Architekten, Ingenhoven Architekten, Code Unique Architekten, Rem Koolhaas or Herzog & de Meuron. But there's still some very interesting temporary buildings: a kindergarden, a cruise terminal or a look-out.
Later, I went to the city centre to draw some typical tradesman houses, the main station and a small café. Hamburg is always worth a visit!
