Subway Winos
OK, I don't think any of these guys are actually winos. But I drew them on the way to Isa & Terry's Vegan Cookies Invade Your Cookie Jar launch party, and colored them in with the red wine that was on hand there. Speaking of hands, I used my finger to apply the wine. A brush might have given me a little more control, but I think I did OK. And it dried to such a lovely purple!

Nice experiment. I tried to make a wash with juice from pickled beetroot – initially the colour was strong and vibrant but after some days it went dull.
That makes a great wash! From how hard it is to remove from a tablecloth, red wine should last OK. Nice sketches
