Playing Sudoku


I've been doing so much travelling these last couple of months, almost every day. So I've done tons of drawing but had no time to share them with you!


This middle-aged lady was keeping really still, playing Sudoku, but every time I tried to draw her hand, she moved it to add something or rub something out - nightmare!

From the same day, above are the some of the characters waiting with me for the train home. And the melancholy fella below was across from me once I got on:

Your portraits are excellent Lynne.
I have tried a few self portraits lately and find it very difficult to get any likeness. Your sketches make it seem easy...and you do it "on the fly"!
Very inspiring.

The wonderful thing about drawing strangers, is there's no pressure to get a likeness, which means you relax and so are more likely to get one!
