More travellers
From the end of October lasting to the end of April the flow of travelers increases throughout Western Africa, the weather gets cooler rarely going over 30ºC and the nights get cooler.
At Auberge Sahara its the time of the big rally's coming in. Most of them are doing charity races and the cars end up being auctioned to raise money for the local communities or NGO.
Those I sketched Touareg-trail are only the back up en charged of putting up the camps installing the portable toilettes an making sure that the 22CV on the race have their hot food an tents ready when they've stopped playing around in the dunes.
The cars have two 4X4 and a team of mechanics with them.
I didn't get to see them as they didn't come across town otherwise I would have tried to get a bit of Lapin's skill and have a go at sketching them!

The subtle colours and loose style is great. I see these are happy travellers - just the kind you want!
Happy travellers and great drawing of the truck. Enjoyed the hot moment here in cold weather of November.
