“Model” time

Yesterday my friend invited me to an evening of model drawing. It’s been a long time since I drew a model. So at the beginning it was a little bit strange. But slowly I started to warm up and enjoy. I felt like I’m a student in the art school again. I wanted to catch the entire atmosphere, including the very concentrated drawers of all ages, the light, and the music. But I didn’t want to waste my “model” time. Here are some sketches from this evening. I promised to myself to do it more often.

These are really beautiful. I'd love to see you draw one day, I'm fascinated by the way your lines, strokes and washes come together.

Really beautiful! I am always amazed by the expression of your sketches: the mixed technique (watercolors, pencil, collage...etc) blends perfectly and what seem to be fast strokes (am I right?...) never leave anything important behind. Great work!
