Los Angeles Food Truck: Lomo Arigato

Lomo Arigato is a food truck that serves Peruvian-Japanese food. I ordered lomo saltado, which is a traditional Peruvian-style stir-fried dish served with rice. It was neat to see flames go up inside the truck when the chef was firing up the wok to flash-fry the food!

The dish looked like this:

Great drawing... love how the flames are visible and the truck is dancing lines with great structure - I hope your lunch was just as delicious as the drawing.

This is such a nice sketch. It just jumped out at me when I saw it. Love at first sight.

Great energy and panache in that drawing Shiho. Kinda the sketching equivalent of stir fry!

Thanks for your comments!

Food trucks serving ethnic food/upscale desserts is a big trend in Los Angeles right now - I follow at least 8 of them on Twitter - so I will continue to sketch them and taste-test their food whenever I can!

Wow! I never thought of Twitter as being much besides another time-sink! Well done, Shiho, great use of the resource.

I am not active on Twitter, though it can be handy for finding out new things! I have another food truck sketch that I will post in a few days....
