Day and night

In the district where I live there is an interesting collection of houses dating from the beginning of 20th. century. They show differencies in their styles but the overall image is a quite harmonious one, due to the similar size of both buildings and lots. It is a quiet place close to the hearth of the city.

I have portrayed twice one of these houses, in daylight and after sunset. The point of view is different, as well as the technique, though...

Different techniques, different points of view, but both are excellent drawings. We keep a good idea of the place.

How interesting to see the two different treatments together. My fave is the pencil one though - so much atmosphere is captured.
