To follow Lapin's beautiful post, I thought I'd show another sketch of the cathedral in Santiago.
Should have made the view "tighter" in order to show a bit of the plaza in the foreground, but c'est la vie...
A truly awesome cathedral (It may even be at it's most stunning at night) and a beautiful city.
I walked the Portugese route from Porto earlier this fall and enjoyed the hike through Portugal and Spain. The weather was good and the route was not too crowded until the last 100 km. or so. The Alburge's (or hostels) were all quite clean and comfortable and cheap at 3 euros per night.
It's hard on the feet but well worth the effort.

Urban Sketchers has a custom Moleskine sketchbook. Would you like one?
We have a limited supply of the sketchbooks created for the recent Symposium that we are offering in exchange for a minimum donation of $25 to our nonprofit (we'll cover shipping to any country).
