"GIVE A LITTLE, GET A SKETCH" Our holiday fundraiser continues through Jan. 3rd. We have raised $594 so far, almost double of our original goal! Thank you! If you haven't already and decide to donate today, we still have two prints available from our Holiday Prints Set for donations at the $75 level and above. And no matter how small your contribution, we'll send you a high-resolution jpeg for your personal use from our Holiday Digital Set. Any amount will make a difference as we build a fund for artists grants and scholarships. To donate, click "Support Urban Sketchers" on the left sidebar.

New Prints

I have a few new prints for sale in my Etsy store. There are six new ones. These plus a painting of Sandy Koufax who was a pitcher for the Dodgers. Many of my famed urban sketches can be purchased there at a very reasonable price.

Sad that Urban Sketchers is being used as an advertisement site. There's enough advertising bombarding us as it is. I wouldn't mind if it was just saying that this print can be purchased, but then hawking portraits of Sandy Koufax, etc., in the comment. Geez. Not classy at all.

Well, I for one am glad so many Urban Sketchers like Tommy have contributed so much here *for free* so anyone can enjoy their work, and I wouldn't begrudge any of them a little plug every now and then. And the other ads on the site are what keep the site going, so we won't even go there.

Another great sketch, Kane. Your work is inspiring as always.

It's one thing to plug. But this is much more blatant. What's Koufax got to do with Urban Sketchers? I agree it's great people post their art, but of all the people posting, Tommy seems to be the most commercial in his interests. Let's just enjoy the art. The plugs ruin the experience.
