Naples: cold weather, out for sketching

Last week I was drawing from Corso Vittorio Emanuele, in Naples.

It's a very panoramic street: designed for military reasons in 1700, it dominate the old part of the city from a constant altitude. The air was finally clear, after the long hot summer, so I could see far far away. A man stopped and asked me if I was "the one of the blog, the Naples' sketcher". This reminds me that almost nobody draws outdoor here... and that sometimes real and virtual life do meet each others. At home I found an email where the man explained he's a doctor and started drawing again inspired by my blog. Well, this really made my day!

your blog has inspired many more people than you know Simo (including me!). Always a fan of your delicate watercolors and your signature panoramic format
