Eduardo Salavisa (USk Lisbon) has curated a must-see exhibit of sketchbooks that opens Oct. 31 in Lagos, a charming town in the south coast of Portugal. The show will feature original sketchboooks by contemporary illustrators, designers, scientists and educators, including a great representation of urban sketchers like Pedro Cabral, Richard Camara, Gabriel Campanario, Simo Capecchi, João Catarino, Isabel Fiadeiro, Enrique Flores, Lapin and José Louro. "Just like other modern technology is used to record images, like photography or video, drawing continues to be essential when it comes to gathering information or doing research," says Salavisa.
EVENTS
Do you know an event that would be of interest to USk readers? Artists' exhibits, sketching classes or workshops, sketcher meetups... We want to make sure no one misses it. Send information and images to urbansketchers at gmail dot com.

I'm dizzy just thinking about the amount of drawings in all those books. The books look great themselves.
Great, I followed quite a few links in this and found some excellent new inspiration! Beautiful pages all through.
