I love to draw with clear and dark tones on a mid-tone paper. This is a customized kraft-paper sketchbook (I made the wire- binding on a copy service in order to open it 360º). It's been a mate for almost 6 months and it's just half on the topic of this blog since I filled it of every idea (or non-idea) comming to my head and/or my hand: scribbles, sketches, public life, portraits, TV drawings, still lifes, designs, projects and of course... urban sketches.
Made in Bologna, Casalecchio, Jávea and Venezia between december 22, 2008 and june 6, 2009.
Music: Chauncey Olcott (1858-1932), "My Wild Irish Rose" (Keith Jarrett, piano, 1999)

Urban Sketchers has a custom Moleskine sketchbook. Would you like one?
We have a limited supply of the sketchbooks created for the recent Symposium that we are offering in exchange for a minimum donation of $25 to our nonprofit (we'll cover shipping to any country). To secure your notebook, click on the red 'support urban sketchers' button on the right sidebar. More information.

Beautiful
Really like your stuff, especially the page with the drawing of your paints.
me gusta ese juego de color utilizando el tono del papel y con los brillos en blanco
Love it! Is different :-)
A wonderful book. I especially like the larger drawings toward the back... and I hopped right up and made a little clipon holder for my paintbox similar to yours though I used a metal bookmark and industrial strength velcro instead of the magnets. This is a great ides. Thanks!
Beutiful sketch book. Love the style. But I am curious. What kind of white pen are you using ?
