Jason, love the work you did on the "Train Escaping January" piece (January 29th, 2008), which featured lyrics from Tymon Dogg's "Lose This Skin". Incidentally, I run the Tymon Dogg fan site at www.tymondogg.net and have included the piece on the site (with appropriate credits of course), and actually found this blog, Urban Sketchers, via Jed Alexander, who I have been in contact with with regards to my new Rick Grimes (Taboo, The One) fan website, dedicated to Grimes' oddball cartoons/strips - www.rickgrimesfansite.net
Anyway... weird coincidence 'eh?
All the best,
Ryan H. (7devonapes)
you get a nice ambiance there jason.
great colors and expressions
Thanks, all!
Ryan--Tymon is great! I saw him play a couple of times with the Mescalaros and had a nice chat with him at a signing. I need to get more of his music that doesn't involve Joe Strummer.
And thanks for the Rick Grimes link. Good stuff.
Nice one man!
Thanks for replying, and great to hear you are a Tymon fan as such (and have seen him live and also spoken with him).
I have most of his stuff for free download on the Tymon fan site, help yourself - though, I do recommend his 1982 LP, "Battle of Wills" over most other material. That and his recent b-side, "Cold Wind Blows".
The Grimes fan site will improve as it goes along, with the man himself - Rick Grimes - soon hooking up online to co-run the site (with news works being posted, etc. - thanks for checking it out!
I appreciate you being ok with adding your "Train Escaping January" piece to the Tymon fan site, and if ever you wish for it to be removed as such, please let me know. It is non-profit fan site and I seriously appreciate adding such fine works to the site to help with content, etc.
All the best,
Ryan H.
