Carters and Carpets
This is just around the corner from my flat - I've never properly looked at this building despite passing it everyday - it's pretty nondescript but the pub is my local, if indeed I drink there regularly enough to call it my local. Just before Christmas there were 80mph gales and I got blown off my bike just down the road from here. I've since put some weight on. My painting by numbers sky describes what unusually beautiful, if freezing, weather Scotland has been enjoying since the gales. I popped into Carters for a cheeky Guinness after freezing my hands in the name of sketching!
