hey you, up in the sky

the empire strikes back


And so my last ones from New York City, with my favourite buildings. I loved how the Empire State seemed to change dramatic shades of blue or silver in the drifting sunlight. Drew the Chrysler from the steps of the NY Public Library - always reminds me of that library cop, Bookman, in Seinfeld.
I'm back in good old Davis now - less urban jungle, more urban lawn - where the tallest building is the university water tower.

Certainly recognize those steps. I worked in that building (NYPL) for over 30 years.

i love these two skyscrapers and your drawings of them, can't wait to visit NYC again, it's being 4 years since i was there last time
